Video Captions & Transcripts (Transient Processing Only): When you actively click the AI Dubbing or Bilingual Subtitle button on a supported video page (such as YouTube, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, TikTok, Coursera, Udemy, TED, etc.), the Extension reads the video's publicly available caption/transcript tracks to translate them into your selected language and synthesize synchronized audio. Subtitle data is processed ephemerally in memory and is never sold or used for profiling.
Local Extension Preferences (chrome.storage.local): Your target language, selected neural voice ID, voice gender preference, academic domain mode, playback speed sync, and subtitle display settings are stored locally inside your browser.
Account & DubFlow PRO License Information: If you purchase a DubFlow PRO plan (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, or Lifetime) or activate a License Key, we store your email address, encrypted license token, subscription tier, and quota usage counter to verify your membership status.
Payment Information: All checkout transactions are processed by our authorized Merchant of Record and PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Lemon Squeezy, Stripe, or PayPal). We never collect, view, or store your full credit card number or banking credentials on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide real-time subtitle translation, neural text-to-speech (TTS) voice dubbing, academic terminology disambiguation, and AI video summaries across supported video platforms.
To validate DubFlow PRO License Keys and synchronize subscription entitlements across your authorized devices.
To provide customer support, order receipts, and license recovery services.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure:
The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome Extension APIs adheres strictly to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not track your general web browsing history, and we never sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties for advertising or data brokering.

3. Data Retention & Your Rights

Local preferences remain in your browser until you uninstall the Extension or clear browser storage. PRO account and license records are retained for the duration of your active subscription and legal tax compliance period. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
