DataKit Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

DataKit is a local-first Chrome / Edge extension. Core data stays in your browser (chrome.storage.local) unless you explicitly export a file.

Data we collect

We do not sell personal data. There is no advertising SDK. Optional Pro uses a license key you paste locally; the key is stored on device. Checkout for Pro happens on our payment provider page (when configured); the extension does not receive your card details.

Data stored locally

• Features you create (sessions, notes, templates, settings, etc.)
• Pro license status / key if you activate Pro

Permissions
